Class starts at 7 AM and ends at 4 PM.
Attend in person or via Zoom.
Description: This 4 day class is designed for Quality Control (QC) personnel who need to take the LADBS Approved Fabricator exam. This class will cover Structural Steel Welding, including the AISC Steel Construction Manual, AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code- Steel, general welding inspection knowledge, welding procedure specifications (WPS), qualification of welding procedures and welders, and quality control manual.
Publications required (not included in course fee):
- City of Los Angeles Building Code (2 Volumes) Complete Code quantity needed: 1
- AISC Steel Construction Manual 16th edition quantity needed: 1
- AWS D1.1:2020 quantity: 1
- AWS A2.4:2020 quantity: 1
