​Advanced Weldtec Inc/ California Welding Institute is an Educational Institution Member of the American Welding Society, AWS SENSE AWS ATF, and as owner, I am also proud to be an Individual Member; honored to be past Section Chairman, Certification Committee Chairman and Technical Representative of the AWS Los Angeles/ Inland Empire Section, in Southern California, also serving as a volunteer Technical Activities Committee member in the AWS D17 Committee for Aerospace Fusion Welding.
 
Our Section membership (about 1,200 members) is made up of professional and student welders, welding engineers, instructors, inspectors, fabricators, contractors, NDT technicians, test lab technicians, and much more.
  
I strongly encourage everyone involved with welding to join AWS, and for those in the industry who have something to offer back to the welding community, to join AWS's effort in advancing the science and technology of welding and to help make AWS an even better Society.
